Crossing exists to encourage and equip college age people to “know God and make Him known”.

Crossing meets every Sunday at 6PM at The Chapel (across Johnstown Road from CTC)

Pastor Zack and Mackenzie Sturgill

Pastor Zack is married to his best friend and biggest supporter, MacKenzie. Zack and MacKenzie met at the very first Crossing service on Marshall University’s campus. Zack has a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and currently works as a supervisor for a Behavior Analyst company in Huntington. MacKenzie has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science but currently is a stay-at-home mom to their son, Jack. A fun fact about Zack is that he and his friends from college attend a movie club where they watch top critically acclaimed movies of all time while MacKenzie has a big passion for working out, drinking ice coffee, and eating Israeli food.

Zack and MacKenzie have served in ministry for six years. However, their family has a 20-year long foundation at Christ Temple. Through ministering with Crossing, they have developed beautiful, meaningful friendships with the incredible people they have become connected with, and they want to see others do the same.

Pastor Zack and MacKenzie believe that Crossing gives college-aged young adults the opportunity to put the Word of God into action, grow in their faith, and build solid relationships within the Body of Christ. Their goal for Crossing is to raise up young adults who have high impact for Christ locally and around the world.
